Help needed to find where Mary connelly is buried
« on: Monday 30 August 21 08:53 BST (UK) »
Aberdeen Daily Journal - Friday 6 June 1913.

DEATHS:
"BONZANI -- At the Royal Infirmary, Aberdeen, on the 4th inst [June] Mary Bonzani, beloved wife of Aristodemo Bonzani, of 203 Gallowgate [Aberdeen] aged 22 years. R.I.P. Funeral on Friday, the 6th inst., at 3 p.m. from St.Peter's, Justice Street, to Springbank Cemetery. Friends please accept this (the only) intimation and invitation

This is the wife of my grandmothers grandfather, he didn’t marry my grandmothers grandmother after having a baby - mary bonzani

He moved onto Aberdeen a few years later and married the above lady
Sadly she died very young

It remains a mystery where aristodemo ever went ,
I was hoping to be able to find the grave and see if theirs any clues on a headstone as to where aristodemo went ? Or infact is he buried their ,

I have tried deceased online with no success - perhaps their is no record registered on that site , the newspaper seems to suggest the cemetery

I would really like to know more and something else I keep in my mind is , the 1921 cenus might reveal more than we presently know

Thanks

Ryan

If you look at https://www.deceasedonline.com/servlet/GSDOSearch you will see that the records of Springbank Cemetery are not (yet?) included in those available at Deceased Online.

The records should be held by Aberdeen City Council, either in the Archives https://archives.aberdeencity.gov.uk or by Bereavement Services https://www.aberdeencity.gov.uk/services/births-deaths-and-ceremonies/deaths-and-bereavement/cemeteries-and-burial-grounds so you need to contact one or both of those.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.
