Seems they may have had a son Michael in Scotland in 1858. Getting the birth record may provide more info:

Name:   Michael Fox
Sex:   Male
Birth Date: 19 Nov 1858
Birthplace: Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland, United Kingdom
Birthplace (Original):   Central District, Glasgow, Lanark, Scotland
Father's Name:   James Fox
Father's Sex:   Male
Mother's Name:   Mary Ferguson
Mother's Sex:   Female

Thanks @eileenwilson !

I had found this Michael (I have lot of Scottish documents from ScotlandsPeople)

Several baptisms of Clooneclare parish match a few (not all) children's names, but dates and ages are a problem.
For example: Catherine died at age 60 in 1909, baptism in 1842
So, it’s confusing..

I am looking for new sources of information on this family, in ireland... if it’s possible.

(first post correction : with  ;) )

IRELAND : Fox - Ferguson - McNulty - Monaghan
GLASGOW : Fox - McKinney - Carey - Gray - Meehan - McGregor - McKernen - Dunleavy
CANADA (British Columbia) : Meehan - Hart - Stevens
NEW YORK : Fox - Gray - Larsen - Winnan - Price
FRANCE : Fox - Jurado

Ages on death records are considered a secondary source as the information is only as good as the person providing it.  Baptisms, on the other hand, are a primary source written by someone who has first hand knowledge.  When Catherine married, did it provide an age to corroborate the baptism info?

After looking at the Tithe Applotment & Griffiths Valuation lists, it appears that the people you are seeking come from Sligo/Leitrim/Roscommon area. I looked at parish registers for these areas & sadly most registers start in 1850s/1860s.The few that have registers before that date I searched but no luck. Registers for early 1800s tend not to be complete or not surviving. This is the main problem with Irish research- either records were destroyed in 1916 uprising or by government(such as census) or haven't survived. However,  you may want to check records for a Francis Fox & his wife Cecily Ferguson. They may be related to your James & Mary. They appear in 1861 Scotland census and son James from census is born 13 Dec 1859 Glasgow. Secondly, the Mitchell Library in Glasgow has books of Poor Relief applications with index which if you find your ancestors can contain a wealth of info. Kim

This is the main problem with Irish research- either records were destroyed in 1916 uprising or by government(such as census) or haven't survived.

In the Irish Civil War on 30 June 1922, an explosion and fire ravaged the Four Courts building in Dublin, destroying many irreplaceable genealogical records in the Public Records Office.

See- https://www.irish-genealogy-toolkit.com/irish-records-burned.html

Some of the 19th century Irish census records were pulped, but others were destroyed in the 1922 fire.

See Census records history-
