Trying to locate a family on the 1939 census. Ernest Wilfred Phillips b. 1903 and his wife Miriam (Smith) b. ca 1905 and possibly two children, although they may be redacted. Most likely they are living in the Manchester area.
In 1937, when Ernest’s mother died, he was the informant and the address he gave for himself was 42 Ascot Road, Newton Heath. His wife Miriam died 21 Oct 1939, age 34, I found the death announcement in the Manchester Evening News and the address was still 42 Ascot Road. Is there any way I can locate the address on the 1939, as I cannot find them under Phillips, Philips, etc.
