Completely unable to read - HELP!!

Much of it is quite easy to read.  Can I suggest you have another look at it and then let us know which words you cannot decipher.

It may help if you scan or photocopy it at a magnified rate - say 150%

Hi Carole - thanks for your reply.

I'm struggling with most of it to be honest, maybe it's because I'm not used to reading these types of documents yet... I have asked my mum too and she isn't able to help. I can just about get maybe:

“____ that he is about 29 years of age and that on 26 July 1820 he ___ ___ as an ____ by ____ to ____ ….”

And that is genuinely all I can translate from that

I don't have the hard copy unfortunately, the file I had is too big to upload on here so I had to reduce the size but the copy I have is bigger and I'm still finding it difficult. Sorry if it should be easy to read, I am not used to the older fashioned writing style as I am really just starting my family tree journey

You can crop your larger document into sections, that would help make the handwriting larger.

There are only a few words I can't make out due to the quality of the image. I'm trying to find an online version to help with that. Is the image available online and if so, where?

Paul Ackary – 2 Nottingham Place, Pearson St

Saith that he is about 29 years of age and that on 26 July 1820 bound himself as an apprentice by (?) to Wm Day of Wood  St, Cromer St in the Parish of St Pancras, Middlesex, Cooper for 7 yrs and by virtue of such binding he lived with & served his (said?) master there the whole of that term & hath not since gained any other settlement.

Hath a wife, named Mary Hunt, to whom he was married in Christ Church, Newgate and by her hath 3 children lawful (?) namely John, aged 5 years, Wm, 3 years and a female not yet baptised, aged 9 days



The words I have transcribed as St, might be something else. Words I wasn’t sure of, I’ve left as a (?) – others may be able to help you.

Note: this marriage must be Mary Hunt Griffin whom he married on 16 August 1829 in Christ Church Greyfriars, Newgate, London.
