I think that is a reprint from the original photograph and could have been done at anytime afterwards.

I've been looking at the various versions of the group photo on the site and I think the clearer versions make the person look older for some reason. I'd now say that he was in his late teens to twenty-ish. and is most like Henry.

The versions on the tree site have the borders on but there is no mark to identify the original photographer.

See if Jim or Carol have any more ideas.

Yes, I did notice the borders. I have never had the original, it was sent to me by my cousin who seemed to have the only photos
Thanks Emma.

Nice work Gadget! The border around postcards disappeared around 1916 for economical reasons according to my postcard collectors book. I agree that the most likely candidate would be Henry.
Over half of the records from WW1 were destroyed during the blitz.

This man has the shoulder title RF? = RFA = Royal Field Artillery.
He also has 2/3 stripes so a Cpl. or Sgt.
There is an Albert Edward Hansen RFA.
A.E. Hansen was promoted to Temp. Lt. Nov. 1914 so doesn't look
like your Albert.
Have you considered it might be a fiancé to one of them ?

Hi all. Sorry I have not been on here for a while but spent so much time on my i pad that my fingers siezed up so they were pretty much useless.
I have been looking into the brothers and I now think our reasoning that it is as Henry on the photo. I did get in touch with Henrys grandaughter and she came up with a photo of medals given to both Henry and Albert. It turns out that Albert was in both army and navy and Henry was in the army.
I would just like to say a big thank  you for all  your help and information.
Thanks.
