Possible mention of Aumarle or Almerle family in the description of Brook House in the parishof Heywood, Wiltshire,

See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brook,_Heywood

See "Description by Aubrey", and the windows of the "canopie chamber".

Good Find, KG!

Google is your friend! ;D

I searched using the term (including quotes):
"per fess gules and azure 3 crescents"
Garrad (Suffolk, Essex, Somerset), Crocker (Somerset), Vanstone (Devon, Jersey), Sims (Wiltshire), Bridger (Kent)

Nice! Thank you! - I did see some of those images come up when I searched on the name variation.

So here's a related question.  Is there a company who would reproduce a graphical image of the crest?  I do not have the artistic skills, even with the ring, to recreate it in design. I would still really like to to have it represented at our wedding ancestors table.
