Clara's maiden name was Greenway.

Unless her age is way out there is a match on the 1861 b Coventry 1851

Marriage was 1875 not 1876.  You need to buy a copy of the 1875 marriage cert to determine their respective fathers names

Thank you all for your replies, you have found lots of information that I had not been able to find out and will be really useful.

I have not come across anyone yet having no mother, I had guessed that maybe she was a daughter Joseph Bird Greenway. Is is normal to show no mother ?

She has a mother, children who are registered with no father named on the certificate are given the mothers surname.
The new GRO Index lists illegitimate children with no mothers maiden name, if the parents were married the child would have the fathers last name and the mothers maiden name would be also be listed.

Yes it is fairly common.

ADDED
Joseph Bird Greenway had 3 daughters found so far, Mary Ann 1825, Elizabeth 1827, and Esther 1829. Anyone of them could be the mother.
