Could you tell me which website "S.P. hmcc" is please? I wouldn't mind having a look at the birth record. I couldn't find it on www.freebmd.org.uk.
FreeBMD is an index to births, marriages and deaths in England and Wales only. It does not include Scotland.
Original Scottish BMD records are available only at
www.scotlandpeople.gov.uk though various commercial web sites have partial indexes. SP is the abbreviations often used for Scotland's People.
hmcc is the screen name of the person who found and posted the information for you.
