1884 Leicestershire death.

I'm wondering if anyone could help me decipher some initials/letters appearing on a death certificate I have.
I have an 1884 death certificate and in the column"When & Where died" 8th March 1884, Kibworth Beauchamp, Lester.  R S D
In the "Causeof Death" column it is certified by "T MacAulay"  M R C S.

Can anyone shed some light on what those letters are abbreviations for?

Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy?

RSD is an older term used to describe one form of Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). Both RSD and CRPS are chronic conditions characterised by severe burning pain, most often affecting one of the extremities (arms, legs, hands, or feet). There are often pathological changes in bone and skin, excessive sweating, tissue swelling and extreme sensitivity to touch, known as allodynia.
