On current maps, the post code for Gallt-y-Sil is LL55 2SZ

Looking at old maps, it is on the far right of these:-

This map has the hospital and Gallt-y-sil farm. Zoom in or out as necessary - www.old-maps.co.uk/#/Map/248887/362090/12/100954

DCB,  Many thanks for that; just  following various Parry family members originally from Llanllyfni, in the hope of identifying descendants ::) ???

Hi,

I have the St Thomas's memorial booklet from Gwynedd FHS. This shows -

Grave D015 - Er Cof am/John Parry,/Cil-Llidiart, Groeslon/Bu farw Ionawr 25, 1952,/Yn 85 ML. Oed "Cwsg a gwyn dy fyd"/

There are other Parry family burials in adjoining graves D013 and D014 form Cil-Llidiart, Llandwrog - are they connected, do you want details?

Alan,
You mention the address from records as 'Cil Llidiart, Groeslon'; the address on the screenshot I posted above says 'Gallt y Sil - LLanbeblig I think.

Is there a connection?

G.

Hi,

I really don't know -all I can say is what is in the inscription booklet.

The other graves seem to be a family - Ellis and Margaret Parry plus 4 children over both graves.

As yet I don't have an Ellis Parry in my Family Tree Maker program, but poss he is related to John Parry.
