Great to have this confirmed.   :)     I am pondering/wondering about the possibility that Louisa and William separated shortly before this.  Seems odd that she did not stake a claim to his estate.  Begs the question, maybe she didn't know.

What makes you think she didn't get anything from his estate?  Thomas Bowden was the executor, but may or may not have been a beneficiary - you'd need to read the will itself to know that.

You can download it for £1.50 from here (select the middle tab): https://probatesearch.service.gov.uk/#wills

Will received today. Yes, Louisa was mentioned and his son William also.  Cousin Thomas Bowden taking care of business until his son William Bowden reaches the age of 21 yrs.  Quite a detailed two page hand written document.  William to inherit all his messuage tenements and hereditaments and land in the Parish of Swanbourne.  Louisa received all household furniture for her own absolute use and manuscripts/books to William.  Monies he had in shares of Life Assurance; those invested in Consols or lodged in Post Office Savings Bank together with his share in the Civil Service Supply Association Limited and all other monies and securities for monies whatsoever were to be shared by both Louisa and William (from what I understand from reading the Will).
Thomas Bowden (cousin) and son William the two executors.
I can scan the pages if anyone is keen to see original.

A marriage between a William Bowden and Louisa Bell 1860 Hanover Square.
Two witnesses were Richard Bell (possible older brother) and Anne Bell.
Louisa's father's name is "Richard" so am keen to establish if this is the right Louisa.  She wasn't born in the county, (but anything is possible in regards to her movements around the country).
I cannot find them in the 1861 census which is strange and wanting some help with this couple to find them.
Regarding this marriage.  I note an Anne Bell was the other witness.  I have possibly found her death in Holborn aged 76yrs; she was married to a Samuel Bell from 15 Carlton Road, - Gothic House College Clapham, "Schoolmaster".  So Samuel a possible work colleague / friend of Richard Bell (the brother and other witness to the marriage).  Would be interested to know a bit more about the two men being "schoolmasters" and possibly at "Gothic House College", Clapham.  Any knowledge/input would be great.
In 1881 census, Richard Bell, the other witness and brother to Louisa had stated being a "schoolmaster".

Clapham Rise, Gothic House College, German, French and English Protestant School
MR. GORDON THOMPSON principal 1864

At Clapham Rise was founded, in 1827, the British Orphan Asylum, (now located at Slough, near Windsor). The design of this institution is "to board, clothe, and educate destitute children of either sex who are really or virtually orphans, and are descended from parents who have moved in the middle classes of society, such as, for example, children of clergymen, and of members of the legal and medical professions, naval and military officers, merchants, and of other persons who in their lifetime were in a position to provide a liberal education for their children.

Tis with great thrill that I have at last found Richard in the 1841 census.  The image is very faint, but I feel certain it is him and that his occupation is "Tutor", aged 30 yrs, not born in County.    Initially, thought it said "Tailor" but having enlarged the frame feel confident that "tutor" is what is says.

Living with an Ann Johnson aged 35 yrs (possible sister - once again; certainly the right age and not born in county);  and two servants aged 15 yrs and 12 yrs.

Rather than scanning here is the ancestry details: HO 107/819 Lesbury, Bambrough, Northumberland.  :) :) :)

Waiting on his death cert. now.  Will be of interest to know who the informant was.
