If the marriage took place in a Register Office, then your only recourse is to buy a certificate.

Use the details from FreeBMD, and order through www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates.

Another source to try is FreeReg.

In my earlier post, I mentioned a Henry Corr born 1862, son of Bernard and Ann, but the ages didn't fit. However, he was the son of Bernard, the son of Bernard and Ann. Bernard jnr. (as Carr) married Ann Cassady/Cassidy in Q4 1850.

In 1855, they had a daughter, Mary, and Henry in Q1 1863. I can't find  Henry and his parents in 1861-71, but Mary was living with Bernard snr. and uncle Hugh Corr. She is listed as Bernard's niece in 1861, although it probably meant Hugh's niece, as in 1871.

Bernard, a Chemical Worker, and his son, Henry, a Cooper b 1862, reappear together in Heworth in 1881-1891.
I can't find them after 1891, so perhaps Henry moved to Lancashire. As previously mentioned, the marriage certificate might be the only way of finding out.

P.S. A Bernard (Curr), Chemical Worker b 1828, and Henry, b 1863, also appear on the 1871 census.

Bernard, Chemical Worker b 1811, and wife, Ann b 1823, appear on the 1861 census, but no Henry.
The mother's name for the children on the GRO is Cassidy. Bernard is lodging with the Cassidy family in 1850 but born in 1830.
