Frederick Cox in London
« on: Wednesday 06 October 21 06:39 BST (UK) »
I believe that Frederick died about 1932 in Bethnal Green. Would his death certificate give the names of his parents and how old he was when he died?

I would like to know if he married and had children, please.

Jock.

This leaflet from the GRO should help  https://www.rootschat.com/links/01qzf/   With luck his death may have been registered by a relative

Can you please give a bit more back ground as to your interest in him?
It is tricky going in cold.
You know from the reg I posted  he was said to be 74 so born about 1858.
There is a Frederick Cox born about that time who seems to be in Bethnal Green his whole life, but whether he is the same man or not I cannot say.

I see no will nor administration for him,  1932 or 1933

I believe he is mu 1st cousin 3 times removed.

His fatther was Joseph Cox and his mother was  Eliza FLUEDE or FLINDE or FLENDE.

I was hoping to establish an outhoritative spelling for his mother's surname.

In addition to finding a marriage for Frederick and maybe even details of any children he may have had.

Joseph Eliza marriage indexed with 3 variants, but when you look at the image it looks like FLENDE to me.
