MY FTDNA emails have vanished

I have had emails between me and matches on FTDNA.  Today I can't find where they are.  Has anyone else had this?  I just can't see a suitable link.

Where are you looking for these emails? When I find mutual matches in FTDNA I get their email address listed there, then send message through my own email account. Other sites allow direct messaging (My Heritage, for example) but I've never come across that on FTDNA.

This is weird.  I uploaded my MyH data to FTDNA, to see my X-DNA matches.  I then started a back and forth chat with someone I matched.  It was not by direct mail, and I think only FTDNA gives X matches on MyH data.  If it wasn't FTDNA, where could it have been?

In My Heritage log in, then top right of page click 'envelope' symbol to get to your mailbox- inbox, sent messages, notifications, etc.
Are the 'missing' emails there?

I've no problem with My Heritage emails.  I looked at ftdna to find X-DNA matches, found several, one of whom replied, and we exchanged a few emails.  Now I can't find them. If it wasn't ftdna, could it have been somewhere else.?
