I  have  had  a  DNA with  results  return  today, I  am  a  bit perplexed, my gt  grandfather  was Swedish, would  it  have  shown  Scandinavian?, my  second cousin has  it on his, his  grandmother and  my  mother were sisters,  I  am really puzzled?..

LM - to start,  what ethnicity groups have they given you and how much DNA (cMs) do you and your second cousin share.?

Ethnicity estimates all depend on the particular site's panel. Ancestry change their estimates once a year. They gave me a high percentage of Scandinavian DNA when I was first tested but I don't have any now  :)
