The plot thickens: John Cony Sicklemore (1804-1867) was an officer in the Royal Navy. He wasn't married to a Harriett.

1861 census

9 Adams Mews, St George Hanover Square:

Harriett Sicklemore - Widow - 40 Laundress
George Sicklemore -14 Farrier
Susannah   Sicklemore -  9

All shown as born in London

(George Fiddler/Sycamore was a farrier in the army. )

To be fair the surname in that 1861 census entry is not at all clear:

Someone else has been down this path already, linking siblings John, Louisa, George and Susan:

Susan's marriage record has father John as a captain.

John Coney Sick Leane
Baptism 7 Apr 1850,Croydon Common, St James, Surrey
Parents JOHN/HARRIET
Father a Sailor*
Image on Anc appears to be Sicklemore
Now that's a great find!

I agree it looks like Sicklemore, and note that although the baptism is Croydon Common, the abode is London (others on the page are Croydon Common).

ADDED: Oops, I didnt notice the posts had gone on to page 2 so there was more information.  Shoulda gone to ....  ;D

Theodore Matthias Thompson died in 1909 in Victoria, Australia (as Theo Matthias Thompson).  His death registration gives his mother's name as "Hart Tiddler" - presumably Harriet Fiddler.

Harriett Vidler applied to the bench for an order on John Coney Sicklemore, for the maintenance of two children, of which he is the father.....
