Hi all I'm looking for some information on a kathleen h walton born in uk in 1937 she emigrated to new York in July 1954 aged 17 on board the britannic the manifest states her address as 1517 Carmen avenue,Chicago,illinois I'm surmising this address was the one required in order to stay there after this she dissapears I don't know if she married or is still alive apparently according to my mum who is her cousin she was on the stage not sure if this is true any help in can get would be greatly appreciated  Many thanks in advance

It looks as if she travelled to America in the company of Margaret J Knox. Both were headed for the Carmen  Avenue address. Margaret had 6 pieces of luggage, Kathleen had none.

I see in her obituary she is described as sister of Bernard Knox.

Yes Brentor boy I have the ships manifest kathleen was living with the knoxs after the death of her mum in childbirth her father John walton remarried in 1939 obviously he either couldn't look after her or didn't want her there who knows

Salim and Kathleen were married 8 October 1959 Beirut Lebanon according to his petition for naturalization.
