Using FreeBMD - there is a marriage where Albert Drayson and Jessie Wood appear on the same page - Alverstoke - March quarter 1895.
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

Was Albert a Victualler, if so the marriage BumbleB found is right.  They married at Alverstoke, Jessies father was John Hext, Jessie was also widowed

Many thanks for all your helpful relies - but think I've wasted your time.

Albert Drayson born c.1845 in Isle of Wight is in the tree I'm researching and Cecil also features, but not Charles b. 1885 (mmn Russell),   Hence I was trying to find a Drayson/Russell marriage.

I think this is a coincidence of names and dates.   Albert Drayson married Mary Ann Stone (widow) in 1867 in Southampton.   My research suggested a possible second marriage but the mmn of both Charles and Cecil suggest I'm barking up the wrong tree.

Thanks again
