Is this document dated 1752 or 1753?

Can anyone help me decipher the year of this marriage bond document? As far as I can tell, this couple got married exactly a year later which is a bit odd.  Many thanks

Oh dear - it was flexible as the dates changed in January 1752. Some areas kept the old dates

"twenty third day of January ..
 in the year of our Lord one Thousand Seven hundred and fifty two"

 The year was 1752 according to the Julian Calendar which was then used in England. New Year was 25th March in England. January, February and most of March were the old year.
England switched to the Gregorian Calendar in September 1752. "Act for Regulating the Commencement of the Year and for Correcting Calendar now in use" was introduced into Parliament by Earl of Chesterfield in 1751.

A regnal - calendar year converter calculates the calendar year 1750/1.

A simple sum 1727+24 =1751 which means that King George completed the 24th year of his reign in June 1751.
I think the regnal year in the extract is incorrect. Need to see rest of entries on register page.
KG2's father & predecessor, KG1 died while on a visit to Hanover, his other realm. European countries were already using Gregorian calendar so KG1 "died twice" 11 days apart and KG2's accession to the throne of England would have been 11 days later than his accession as Elector of Hanover.
To complicate calendars further, New Year's Day was 1st January in Scotland when it was still 25th March in England. Stepping over English/Scottish border meant time-travel.

Thank you. I never could get to grips with the Julian calendar. I thought it might be 1752 but it always helps to get another opinion.  This couple must have got married the same day as the bond was signed, which makes a lot more sense.
