Adding quotes/references
« on: Wednesday 20 October 21 20:10 BST (UK) »
I am sorry, but I do not know how to add a quote/reference to a post as you all seem to do.
 ???
My computer skills are self taught and so have been limited to easy stuff.
Can someone please assist?
(Feel such a dumbo).

If you look to the top right of someone's post, there is an option "quote". If you click on that, it quotes their post in your reply.

Alternatively, if you start your reply and scroll down to where it shows previous posts (such as yours, in this case) the top right of your post shows "insert quote".

No problem, and good on you for teaching yourself new skills. Small victories can lead to big results sometimes.

I often use the first way you mention but after all these years of using Rootschat I must admit I wasn't aware of the second one! So it's a thanks from me too Ayashi.  :)
