Are you sure that her husband left her for good? He might have returned. Also, it might have been that she didn't want people to know that he'd left her. She seems to have kept her name and recorded as widowed.

I think the photo is c1930. It looks as if she is wearing her wedding ring and possibly an engagement ring which looks very much like my mother’s engagement ring.

Are you sure that her husband left her for good? He might have returned. Also, it might have been that she didn't want people to know that he'd left her. She seems to have kept her name and recorded as widowed.

He was known as a bigamist as his FAM, and he left the family. He isn't recorded on any electoral rolls from 1911 to 1939. Surely he has to be actuly dead for her to write windowed

How can you even see it lol 😂 I couldn't even see the 2nd ring that gadget mentioned

Son went to nz apparently hated his dad all the deaths I looked up foot her husband have been wrong. Guess she lied ? On 1939
