From Carole's ref to a will, there is this entry on the index

Dorian Trevenen Bertram [Trevenan Bertram]
Death Date: 31 May 1992
Probate Date: 7 Aug 1992
Probate Registry: Brighton

Another index entry for him also includes an additinal middle name of Noble.

Well she seems to be alive and around in 1962 so perhaps the will is the best way to go.

There is a D T Bertram showing up to 1968, and the online A/try cut off, in the British Telephone Directories. Address in later years was Rose Cottage, Charing, Kent.

Doesn't help with Constance's details though.
