According to the Ancestry.com Public Member Trees, they show that she married a Harold Edward Weaver, however there is no confirming details of the marriage in the BDM's of NSW, VIC or QLD.

I think the idea here is that Adeline and Harold had a child together in 1930.

Following Dundee's post

Contrary to the Ancestry tree, the daughter born in 1930, did not die in 1977, though her husband did as listed.

I have not found her death.

However, I think her mother Adeline Gladys  married in NSW.
Adeline C (sic) DYER
Charles D (sic)ELLIS
Date:1933
Reg Sydney, New South Wales
Reg.Yr1933
Reg number13629

Charles Laurie ELLIS and Adeline Gladys are together on the E Roll n 1935 in NSW He is a labourer and she HD. Address 332 Park Road Berala.

In 1936 Charles is alone at Pine Cliffs in Begala.

In 1943 Adeline lives at Simmons Street Newtown and is employed in defence.

The daughter married young in QLD.
I am not inclined to add more without locating her death.

1941

In that era, the files are not just for the Divorce Cases, but they can also be for judicial separation, child maintenance, custody, deserted children, destitute women, or matters heard 'in camera'  to do with handling sensitive detailed matters.  (And may have details of people who are still living).

Interesting to know, JM.

Well, it looks like our OP, wildcats13, has been online a couple of times since the many  replies with helpful information were posted.

But, no response ???

Can only hope it was of some use!

I will pause on additional findings for now. ;)

My apologies to everyone who has contributed so far to this topic, as for the past week, I have not been in a position due to health, where I could respond in a timely fashion.
Most responses have been very helpful and I am in the process now of seeking a Transcription copy of Adeline's Death Certificate which should shed more light on some of the unanswered questions, especially whether there actually was a daughter born in 1930 with Harold Weaver.
It's unfortunate that a lot of what we want is outside the current available time frame in Queensland, but will continue to search the newspapers for details through Trove in the hope of having some success.
Your contributions have been greatly appreciated and I hope we can resolve, if possible, the remaining issues, and I will advise results of the Transcription Death Certificate once I receive it.
Thanks again, Wildcats13

hi there,

I think that the Qld BDM regulations that applied when Gladys died were likely similar to NSW regulations.  If so, then the death cert should ONLY list the details for any children of the marriage/s, and not include any from outside of a formal marriage.   Of course, if that 1930 born lass was the Informant for the funeral director to complete the actual registration process ... but ... umm...  that is not likely as Fred was most likely the informant.
