Help! - Marriage of Andrew Richardson and Jane Rooney?

Hi! Wonder if anyone can help tracking down the marriage of my paternal great grandfather / grandmother - Andrew Richardson and Jane Rooney in Tipperary?

Briefly, Andrew and Jane seem to have originated from the Nenagh area of Tipperary. Their eldest son, William (my grandfather), was born in there in 1884 at 'Clach' or 'Clash' near Toomevara.

Around 1890, they moved to Lancashire, England, living first in Oswaldtwistle and later in Darwen where Andrew died age 47 in 1900. Jane remarried but that is another story!  Whilst their dates of birth precede online records, their marriage - presumably sometime in the early 1880s - should be available. But I just cannot find it on the usual databases. Can anyone help or suggest any way of tracking them down?

Did she remarry under the name Richardson?

Keep in mind not all couples actually married, simply lived together as a couple much like today.

She married Thomas Harwood in Dec qtr 1900 as Jane Richardson

There is a marriage of an A. Richardson to Jane Rooney on 30 Nov 1883 in Nenagh. Only information is that it was R.C.

No fathers' names shown, which is odd.

This was on the Roots Ireland Website.
Can I also just say -- this is such a coincidence, as my Gt Grandfather and Gt Grandmother were from Nenagh - and THEY moved to Oswaldtwistle, Lancs (which is only a small town) -- in the 1870s!

Afternoon everyone!  Just a quick note to say 'thank you' to everyone who has replied to my enquiry.  I think 'Pennines' and 'Maggsie' (in a personal message) have identified the 'missing' wedding on 'Roots Ireland'.  I don't use that database much but what is interesting is that even with the correct names and the exact year, there is still no matching entry on 'Irish Genealogy' etc. There was another recent post on here about a missing marriage from the Toomevara area in the early 1880's so maybe there is a gap in the IG transcribed online records ....

Anyway, a bit of digging around has also identified Andrew's probable Baptism record, his father and mother and four potential siblings so all in all a great result.  Thanks again!!

Yes I checked the Civil Registration Index for Ireland on the Ancestry site, but couldn't find the marriage either.

I don't know if you are interested - and you may already know, but Andrew's burial is on the Deceased On Line website.

He was buried on 1st March 1900 in the RC section of Darwen Cemetery - age shown as 47, a Labourer of Shorrock Fold, Darwen.
