In the 1939 register none of the houses have numbers - all simply have names. Delbury is one of them, but I can't work out the sequence of naming to be able to have any idea of where it might have been.

There is a 1962 Ordnance Survey Map which shows a few of the remaining names, but Delbury isn't one of them

Delbury is followed by 4 properties in Armoury Gardens and then "The Dairy, London Road; 7 Armoury; 8 The Armoury; ...".

Have tried to spot "The Dairy" on a range of old maps without success - the Armoury is ever present. Appears to put "Delbury" at the North end of Armoury Gardens.

Awesome...maybe we'll find it. I appreciate your help folks.

Here's a scan of the envelope we have that contained her birth certificate. She's the stern looking person on the left. Not sure who that is in the other photo.

Does the stamp say Oct 10?

If so, it should be on the 1911.
