« on: Sunday 24 October 21 02:29 BST (UK) »
Thomas Chappell was born in 1765 and lived in east harptree. He married one Anne woolford. I have reached a brick wall after this regarding there parents and was wondering if anyone had more information on the Chappell’s of east harptree ?

Where did you get the birth year 1765 from or are you just presuming that he was 21 when he married?

I cannot find a baptism for Thomas at East Harptree

Phillip & Anne had children East Harptree from 1895

He married  Anne Chapman Compton Martin in 1790, a witnesses was William Chappell. They had children called Thomas & Hester so it looks likely that his baptism is below. Maybe he was related to your Thomas, who knows but it looks likely that there is a gap in the records on freereg.

Phillip CHAPEL   Baptism 12 Oct 1760   Somerset   East Harptree : St Lawrence : Parish Register

Father Thomas, sister Sarah born 1772, mother named as Hester.

I think the burial I posted for Thomas 1797 must link to Phillip.
