Can anyone help.My grandfather was a master euphonium player for the Treherbert silver band.Sometimes he conducted the band as well.He was killed in the Bute pit 1935 and the euphonium was placed on top of the coffin. The funeral was reported ,but as its on the edge of the page,is unreadable.I also believe he played for other bands as well.Does anyone have any information on him or the competitions, anything. He was highly thought of.The family moved from Kettering around 1911=12.Thankyou
