Commonwealth War Graves Commission are appealing for relatives of Pvt Milllard Jones of the Welsh Regiment - Service No 19014 - buried Cardiff (Cathays Cemetery) - died 17/12/1915


The private memorial marking the grave of Pvt Jones no longer provides adequate commemoration. The Commission are in the process of producing a new headstone.

I put a link to this request from the CWGC on a Glamorgan family history group and a relative has been found (granddaughter of his sister). The CWGC have already been in touch with her about the replacement, and offered her the chance to add an inscription.

Hi Sandra, i live in Cardiff, close to the cemetery and have tried to find relatives of a few of these requests before, but am really busy in work so decided to put the link up. Someone took up the challenge and the relative was another member.  :)
