Parish Church St James Dover - Kent
« on: Friday 29 October 21 07:01 BST (UK) »
I'm wondering if anyone could help me locate a photo or even a sketch of St. James Church Dover. I would like to attach it to a marriage recod of 1854.  I know the church underwent some changes before WW1 and WW2 took their toll on it.
An ancestor of mine was married in 1854,  The Parish Church in the Parish of St. James Dover - County of Kent.  Marriage was by banns and it looks like Hector Norton was the Curate.
Any help gladly welcomed.

This site may be of use http://www.dover.freeuk.com/church/stjamesdover.htm  but it looks like it was altered in the late 1860's

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
