Robert Johnston Caledon Tyrone
« on: Sunday 31 October 21 17:40 GMT (UK) »
 hello
Seeking information on Robert Johnston and his wife Anne ( Hall)  .
According to the 1901 Irish census he was born 1833 . But a number of trees show him as b 1828.  His wife was born 1826 both according to the census  in Co Tyrone.
Address  in census Drummamoless ,Brantry ,Tyrone . Occupation Farmer . Also there is their daughter Elizabeth 38.

Robert and Anne married 6/8/1852 in Caledon Church of Ireland.  His father is listed as  John Johnson  and hers Samuel Hall . Both are labourers . Samuel Hall  also appears as a Witness --unless its a brother.

Robert  and Anne  have quite a large family, the majority of whom go to America. There are a Number of Trees on Ancestry for the children.
Some have Anne Hall born Scotland but on the 1901 census it clearly says Co Tyrone.

My interest is not the children but Robert and Anne . So who were there mothers,? unfortunately  not finding baptismal records . Any Siblings to them ?

Would also like to find Anne's date of death.
Robert died 6/4/1904  in Caledon and is listed as a widower .  His son in law William Robert Clark  was the informant . ( He may be the husband of Elizabeth or her sister Mary both born around 1863/5  --have yet to confirm)

Grateful for any information
Thank You .

Thanks for that. Wonder when my Robert died. Must have been on him with only one daughter and son staying in Ireland.
