Maybe my cousin will come up with some extra information. He's into  local history, etc. Quite a few of my ancestors are there too.

I just received a confirmatory email from the church warden saying that yes the annotations are plot references, but given there is no obvious order to them, they are unable to locate her burial. I was surprised there wasn't a definitive grave plan, but apparently that is not uncommon (and I guess the CofE guidance on what to do if you discover someone remains when digging a new grave would suggest that too!!)
