1930 US Census - Need help finding 'other half' of census return
« on: Tuesday 02 November 21 20:06 GMT (UK) »
Hi,
I am trying to find info on a Barbara McKinstry who emigrated from N Ireland to USA, don't know when. I have located a Barbara McKinstry in the 1930 US census living in Philadelphia. The problem is there are only 3 people showing on the census sheet for their household, and they are all children;
Archibald McMurray aged 8, Gloria McMurray age 0 and Barbara McKinstry aged 14. Their details are at the very top of the census page, so the other members of the household must be at the bottom of the previous page, but I cannot locate the previous page.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Paul

It’s here on Family Search
https://www.rootschat.com/links/01r1a/

Barbara is on page 3 and the pages are out of sync.
Archibald and Margaret McMurray are at the foot of page 6.
Census Information is Crown Copyright, from www.nationalarchives.gov.uk

Not a very common last name. Age is right.

Thanks  heywood and RJ. Much appreciated. Not sure at this stage if it is the Barbara McKinstry I am looking for, but it's a big help.
