He was William Joseph Bailey born 29/9/1865 Alverstoke, Hampshire, son of a John Thomas Bailey (coachman) and Maria Cook.   He was the only son but had 3 sisters: Annie Maria born 1867 (married a Herbert Ellis), Mary Augusta born 1868 (married Henry John Goodrick) and Nellie Elizabeth born 1879 who married a James Blake 1916.

William was a Butler to naval officers in 1901 and 1911 (described as officers servant when he enlisted 1914).   He married an Elizabeth Albery in 1891 Chelsea but they had no children.

There is a tree on Ancestry (Blake Family) so would surmise submitted by a descendent of sister Nellie and her husband.
