John Daniel or Daniels
« on: Saturday 13 November 21 07:00 GMT (UK) »
Good Afternoon all, hope this finds you all well. :-\ Searching for any records of John Daniels born around 1718 place unknown, marriage by Banns 29/2/1756 died 17/1/1800 aged 82 Saltwood Peter & Paul Kent, married to a Jane Oldfield (W) maiden name unknown, burial 18/3/1778 Saltwood Kent. Their daughter Jane Daniel born 10/10/1756 Cheshunt Hertsfordshire, she was baptised 20/2/1826 I have this record showing her husband John Sorrell (Carpenter). In some records Jane Oldfield show's she is a widow and other records she is a spinister. :-[ :-\ Anybody familiar with this family.

Regards,
Janet :-\

Hello
It looks like there was a David and Jane Oldfield having children in Saltwood parish in the 1730's.
They married 17 Feb 1732 at Cheriton St Martin.She was a Jane Caister.

Be wary Janet -- it's just a presumption.
It's very frustrating that Parish Registers, back in the day, gave so little information.
Places of interest;
Lancashire, West Yorkshire, Southern Ireland, Scotland.
