With today being the day it is, I'm trying to find the war records for my great, great granddad, William Rain Kirby. He was born and lived all his life in Leeds. He was born 6th Mar 1887. His next of kin would be his wife, May, born 1889 and he had 1 son.

The only thing we know is that he was injured in - we think - France and was brought back to England on a ship and a nurse called Ouida cared for him on board.

Really sorry if I've posted about him before but I can't find the thread if so.

Any extra information is welcome

Here you go: William Kirby 15141 Labour Corps (previously 30059, South Staffs R). Married May Clark in 1911, son William born 1912
