Just looking for the parents of Daisy Orbell born 29.3.1893 Cambridge area
all the information I have is this -
Married Joseph Nunn in 1913 they had son Charles born 14.4.1915

There are two National School Registers that give the name of her father as Arthur Mason:

1899 in Exning, Suffolk
1905 Coveney, Cambridgeshire

1901 Oxford Square, Exning
Arthur Mason born, 1867, Exning, agricultural labourer

I can find Banns for a marriage between a Charles Henry Orbell and Sarah Ann Carter dated 1886 in Wood Ditton but cannot find any reference to an actual marriage taking place.

Charles Henry dies in Wood Ditton 1894 and in 1897 Sarah Ann marries Arthur Mason. They appear with Daisy in the 1901 Census

There is only one possible Daisy Orbell in the records and mother's maiden name is given as Carter :

A-J 1893 Newmarket 9d 619.

This marriage looks likely for her parents :

Charles Henry ORBLE and Sarah Ann CARTER O-D 1886 Newmarket 3b 1073

Sarah Ann ORBLE m 2 Arthur MASON 1897 Newmarket

Most of the above has just been posted , except that the marriage did take place as ORBLE.

The Orbell children are with Arthur and Sarah Ann Mason on the census.

Having quite a problem tying her into the family tree. Can anyone go back further to parents of William/Father of Charles

as per the posting by Sgf28  would it be possible to list Daisy's siblings

Charles' family are not the most helpful of people.

William Orbell, father Jeremiah, married Sarah Fitch, father Charles, in Wood Ditton 21 May 1843. They then proceeded to have several children, most of whom were a few years old when they were baptised but unfortunately not all the baptism entries give age at baptism.
