here is the "publication de marriage " ,registered before the marriage , Julie 's parents are said to be deceased without dates.

No marriage in 1919, and no missing pages in the register.
No marriage in 1920 either.

So , they projected to marry but there is no proof that they did. Too bad , the parents DoD would have been mentionned.

Just out of interest, Pierre Joseph Schwartztrub was a terrassier , a worker who, on construction sites, digs, transports and spreads soil.

Hi to all who have helped with this query. Thank you.
I am now thinking that when Eugenie married Robert Dibdin, into “a well to do family”. It was better for the marriage notice to show Marc Hautier cleric than Pierre Schwartztrub “terrassier” as the father.
I am still puzzling as to Why, When, Eugenie found herself in England as a nurse aged 16 in Putney.
Looking at the marriage on Ancestry, her father Pierre Joseph, Gentleman…

1857 Pierre Joseph , widower ( for the second time) of Marguerite LARME who died 18 feb 1857 , son of the late George (died 26 april 1824 )in Montbeliart and the late Jeanne BEUCLER ( or BEUDER) who died 22 may 1857.
Suzanne Marguerite Bourlier daughter of the late Jacques who died in Beutal 30 april 1837  and Suzanne LARMEE, 62, living in Beutal.

So Suzanne was his 3d spouse.

I looked back on the posts, you have replied previously. I would hate for you to waste your valuable time…rechecking what you have sent.
I can’t find a reason for the link not opening, the last few letters and digits don’t change colour for clicking to open.
