It does say on the next page of the Nurses records., Reason for leaving, to get married,  1914.
I followed that up and found the same marriage to Mr Hall.

You saved me looking further. 🙂

In the margin of the RAF record is written ‘Robert William Edward, 26.10.15 Whitley’, which fits with this birth: Robert W. E. Hall, 4th q. 1915, Tynemouth 10b, 543, mother’s maiden surname Todd.

There is a death for a Robert Russell Hall in Blackpool in 1933. Probate calendar states of " 8 Bipsham Avenue, Blackpool died 5 April 1933. Probate Newcastle to William Pearson Hall, joiner and undertaker". Age in Gro is 52. ( Fylde RD)

He is showing in Lancashire Electoral Rolls 1928 - 1931 but no Edith present.

If this is the correct Robert I, therefore, wonder if this is Edith's death:

Edith A Hall Age 49 Oct - Dec 1926 Fylde, Lancashire.

William

Added: William Pearson Hall was I think Robert Russell Hall's older brother.

Dent (Haltwhistle and Sacriston), Bell and Jetson (Haltwhistle), Postle, Ward, Longstaff, Purvis, Manners, Parnaby and Hardy (Co. Durham), Kennedy and McRobert (Banffshire), Reid(Bathgate), Watson (Wemyss), Graham (Libberton), Sandilands (Carmichael), Munro (Dingwall)
