Thanks for the message, I was actually in Newcastle library looking at the cemetery records when your message came through.
I have managed to find 10 relatives using the microfilm and went and found the grave 8 of them are buried in straight after leaving. The only down side was they were all people I knew the approximate date of death for but at least I have managed to find them and pay my respects.
I have always found the staff at North Tyneside Bereavement Services to be incredibly helpful, I've had the same experience as you and thanks to their help over the years have located a number of unmarked family graves. I can't praise them highly enough.
The odd thing is records I was looking at on microfilm in the library for Elswick are kept locked away in North Tyneside. Different interpretation of the rules I suppose.
