Elizabeth  had daughter Mary Elizabeth Cleave, 1868 Newton Abbot and then Elizabeth died the next year 1869, Newton Abbot aged 33.
Mary Elizabeth is niece in 1881 to Thomas & Ann Hext. She married 1893 Bath to Tom Barber. Son Reginald John born 1894 is with his father in 1901, 1911 just Tom & Mary E.
Elizabeth and James Cleave married at Castle Cary and one of the witnesses was Silas Hoskins. In case you don't have his signature.

Hannah had 4 children including Silas Charles Barter, born last quarter of 1878 and died next quarter in Bath. The family can be found through to 1911 census.
Ancestry has marriage images for Silas & Mary Ann,and their children  Aaron, Elizabeth, Martha, Hannah, James and Frances. You can be confident you have the correct marriage for Hannah to James Barter in 1876, not only father Silas but witnesses were Frederick Barber and Fannie Hoskins (aka Frances Catherine) who married the next year.
I'm not having any luck with Eliza Ann.

I can't thank you both enough for your excellent detective work. It was lovely to have a copy of his signature. It does help me fill in gaps.
The likely death for John Cleave appears that in 1913 at Newton Abbot.
Hannah possibly died 1931 in Weymouth. Looks likely as they retired to the Weymouth area. With James born 1843 and died 1922.

Thanks again,  Mark

Just checking I wonder if the Jas Hoskins means anything to anyone who was living with Martha in 1861. Could it actually be her brother James? I can find no other reference to Jas.

Yes I think he is her brother James William, both are listed as grandchildren of the head, grandfather Garrett.

The only reference I can find to Thomas Hayman Hoskins is on the marriage register online for the 1896 marriage of Kate Louise Hoskins with THH as her father.
Her birth registration in Yeovil 1875 has no mmn and she is with her Hoskins grandparents 1881 & 1891. Possibly her father's name was a little white lie to save face.
A tree on Ancestry has a THH 1850-1877 but no evidence.
