Edit: He arrived in Philadelphia, so there would be no reason to presume New York City for an address. There is no 220 W 221st St in Phila today.

Edit:
here is his 1910 arrival on a free site:
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:23Q5-THD

The passenger list says his final destination was New York, NY, so I would think the address of the person he was joining was in New York City, and 220 W. 221st St. fits.
Thanks, I didn't notice that.
And James Rose said he was headed to New York as well.

Again thank you for further research. So the following would seem to be correct.

James (Stephenson) Rose b 1883 married Sarah Ann Park dq 1901.They had 3 children, Nellie 1902,
George Stephenson 1903 and Mary Isabel 1905.

James sails on the Lusitania for New York 9.4.1910

By 1911 UK census 2 of James & Sarah's children, George and Mary Isabel are in Ulverston workhouse. No sign of Sarah and daughter Nellie.

Frederick Kendall sails for New York 27.4.1910. His wife and children appear on 1911 census.

From 1910 onwards both James Rose and Frederick Kendall vanish.
