she married thomas williams in 1837 in stoke damerel. thank you.brian

Marriage on 18th March 1837 states that she was a Minor, they married by Licence.

Image for that marriage states that Jane marries with the consent of her mother - Mary Ann Nicholson.

A possibility - Stoke Damerel - 17 October 1819 - Jane, daughter of Nicholas (Mariner) and Mary Nicholson, of Dock.

Apologies, I misread the year - it was 1813 so not the correct baptism.   :-[

This name is usually spelled Nicolson in Shetland & Nicholson on Skye.

wow thats a good find. the year looks right then if she is a minor say born 1820 and married 1837. thank you.
