Have you checked the 1911 Census?
Only 1 resident has used "Mousecroft" as part of their address yet the Enumerator describes 3 properties as "Mousecroft, off Houghton Street".

I will take another look (although I find Ancestry's search facility a bit of a pig to work with!)

I do recall I did see some in one census - maybe 1891 as Mousecroft cottages which is believed to be the row of terraced houses that run along Bower Street closest to the old marl works
Harding/Jones/Walters/Coates in Stoke on Trent
Calderbank/Baxendale/Swift/Massey in Chorley and Standish

Hi, came across your thread and your interest in this almost exactly mirrors my own (my conclusion to the location of Mousecroft House is the same - I only transcribed the interesting bit of the mortgage though).  William Mollart Harding Senior was my wife's Great Great Grandfather - hence my research.  We possess a couple of pieces from their pottery days (though no bricks!) - other interesting branches are Joseph's daughter, Lucy, and the American side.
