Charlotte's father on the marriage record is William. On the 1861 census , her birthplace is given as Carmarthen.

Therefore- could this be her birth:" Charlotte, daughter of William Eddy, Labourer, of the County of the Borough of Carmarthen ,and Elizabeth his wife, was born June 26th and Bapized Nov 11th 1821, by me Jonathan Turner"- From Carmarthen ,St Peter ,English Wesleyan Chapel records on FindMyPast.

Thanks DJM, yes that is Charlotte's parents, so originally Charlotte's surname would be Eddy?

It seems to be Edie or Edye on several records - it varies.

There is a marriage for Elizabeth Edie and Charles Burke in Llan-llwch, Carmarthenshire in 1828 and a witness is Wm Edie.
Presumably, this is Charlotte’s sister and the aunt and uncle from the censuses.
