Just clutching at possibilities, but could the following 29 year old Rose in the 1901 Ireland census be the one of the 1890 marriage (note: all born England)?
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Dublin/Pembroke_West/Beggars_Bush_Barracks_Haddington_Road/1287486/

In 1911, what looks like the above Rose and 2 children are with husband / father George Fletcher in Stockport England.

It says Reverend George Fletcher on the wedding doc.

Oops, no it doesn't... it says coachman , now that I have my glasses on.

George Fletcher was a private in the East Lancashire Regiment stationed at the barracks, Dundalk. His father Samuel Fletcher was a coachman.

If Rose was your great grandmother - which of her children are you descended from?   Please give that child's full name, birthyear & birthplace

Thanks everyone for chipping in, I just want to put these details here for clarity as I am also a descendant  of Rose Coogan and would like to assist Fire1905 in hopefully connecting with anyone who can fill in any blanks there are.

Here are the facts as we already have them documented:

Rose Coogan  b. 23rd Dec 1870  Dundalk    Father - Andrew Coogan / Mother Mary Lambe

Rose Anne Coogan  m. George Fletcher (Private East Lancashire Regiment) 30th Aug 1890  Dundalk / St. Nicholas Church of Ireland.
We have no confirmed birth or death records for George Fletcher (yet) nor any records of children from this marriage. We confidently are presuming, through Fire1905 research, that  he was British (possibly Manchester region)
George Fletcher  must have died approx some time  between 1890 and 1896.
I am no military expert but the 2nd Battalion of the East Lancs was based partly in  Ireland and I could not  find any active service for them between 1890 and 1896 to account for his death.

Rose Anne Coogan  gave birth to Thomas Coogan  28th April 1896  Belfast Workhouse. No Father recorded on birth cert.
Rose Anne Coogan m. William Carr (Labourer)  July 26th 1896  Belfast / St. Annes  Church of Ireland.
Rose Anne Coogan  gave birth to William Carr  20th July 1897  Dundalk /William Carr recorded as Father.
Rose Anne Coogan  gave birth to George Henry Carr  12th October 1901  Dundalk/ William Carr recorded as Father.
George Henry Carr d. 1902
The Husband William Carr  died between 1901 and 1905, we have no confirmed records as yet.

Rose Anne Coogan  m. George William Kemp ( Royal Field Artiliery ) 6th July 1905 Belfast / St. Marys Church of Ireland.
Even with the disparity of ages given on the wedding certificates by Rose Anne Coogan We absolutely think it is the same person not just due to the father’s name  And occupation on the wedding certs and but also the census results  that can corroborate  her family and whereabouts at the time of the census. (She must have been very evasive about giving her correct age!)
Rose Anne Coogan  gave birth to George Robert Kemp  on 8th April 1912 Dundalk/ George William Kemp  recorded as Father.

The branch we are trying to clear up is  Thomas Coogan   born 28th April 1896  Belfast Workhouse. with No Father recorded on birth cert it posed obvious  questions  , he didn’t have the name Fletcher nor Carr recorded as his birth name. So that is the Million dollar question.  We do know he married a Rose Kimmins and had 3 Children  and we also know of the grandchildren etc.
