Deciphering Medal Rolls Index Cards

Until recently, I believed that my great-grandfathers war medals had been lost when he moved from England to Australia after the war. However, I recently found his Victory Medal and this made me think some of the other medals may not have been lost.

I need some help deciphering the medal rolls index card below, specifically referring to the silver war badge, the writing in the remarks section and the note in correspondence and what medals it might refer to being disposed. Appreciate any help!

FindMyPast has an interesting Royal Tank Corps record for this soldier showing his service up to 1922:

Indeed. I think this is the service mentioned in the medal rolls index card for 20 hussars. Doesn't seem to have a mention about the medals there though.

On the back:

Officer in charge of Cavalry Records (Canterbury) forwards correspondence and requests authority re disposal of medals. 2 – 11 – 23

(‘Disposal’ in this context relates to where the medals should be sent - presumably to an address given in the 'correspondence' that's been forwarded.)

So he was discharged wounded from KLR in 1916 and joined the Hussars in 1919.
