Not just me, then. I wonder what exciting upgrade is on its way - chromosome browser, shared matches below 20cM, more dots for groups...? Or a change in font type and size.

I'm not getting my hopes up for anything too impressive. But I'd be happy to be proven wrong.
If we suddenly get a chromosome browser and shared matches under 20cM, I might just weep for joy.

Think I may have spotted a change of major importance. Before the new format came along in recent weeks, matches with a common ancestor were flagged with a solid green leaf. After the change, I had a leaf with a green outline but no solid fill. Now, however, it shows as a funny head and shoulders with two blobs either side, like two very big ears. Anyone spot the same?

After reading the last few pages of this thread I looked at the DNA tab on Ancestry and its new functionality (well new to me anyway).

I liked the way you can attribute the matches to your paternal or maternal side and mark them accordingly. Was a little surprised to see i have three times as many matches on my paternal side as on my maternal side but i guess that's just down to who tests. Overall an improvement i think.
James Stott c1775-1850. James was born in Yorkshire but where? He was a stonemason and married Elizabeth Archer (nee Nicholson) in 1794 at Ripon. They lived thereafter in Masham. If anyone has any suggestions or leads as to his birthplace I would be interested to know. I have searched for it for years without success. Thank you.

I've had the paternal/maternal relationship distance  facility for a good length of time - certainly sometime last autumn.

And 21 new matches have tumbled through this morning with the only change I can see to the symbols for common ancestor and type of tree they have (or don't have). Well, that was worth waiting for.
