Patrick Doyle & Julia Doyle (nee Kavanagh)

Looking for some assistance/guidance in tracking down my Great Grand aunt Julia (Johanna) Doyle (nee Kavanagh).

Julia Kavanagh was born on the 17 Jan 1840 in Rathpierce, Ballyfad, Co. Wexford, Ireland. Parents are Patrick Kavanagh & Mary Kilbride. Julia’s siblings are Patrick, Margaret, Bridget, James (My Great Grandfather), Thomas and Ellen. Ellen and husband Walter Lawless also emigrated to the USA arriving in New York on the 19 Nov 1869, and settling in Kankakee, Illinois.

Julia married Patrick Doyle of Island, Craanford, Co. Wexford, Ireland on the 26 Jan 1869 in Craanford Catholic Church. Julia & Patrick emigrated to the USA from Liverpool on board the ship ERIN, Manifest ID No. 00031085 arriving in New York on the 15th Mar 1869.  Afraid that is where the trail dries up.

I have searched through the US Census 1870, 1880, 1890 & 1900 to no avail 

Can anyone see them anywhere or suggest where else I might look. I wondered if they might have made their way to Canada

Any help will be gratefully received.

The bride's name on the image you have looks like Judy rather than Julia.  Maybe she went by another name?  There is a birth record of a son in Co. Wexford born to a Patrick Doyle & Judith Kavanaugh.  https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FG65-C72?q.fatherGivenName=patrick&q.fatherSurname=doyle&q.motherGivenName=judy&q.motherSurname=kavanaugh  Not sure if it's a match, but maybe they returned to Ireland?

Her name is given as Johanna on her birth cert, On the Marriage cert above it is written as Judy in the name/surname section. Below in the field "This marriage was solemnized between us" her name is written as Julia. Three months after the marriage, On the ship passenger list is a Julia Doyle with husband Patrick are sailing for New York on the Ship Erin.

I have searched all available Irish BMD and Census records but no mention. Her younger sister Ellen and Husband Walter Lawless also emigrated to the USA a family I have located and in constant contact with.

There is a marriage in New Ross, 1865 for the Rathgeran couple - just to discount them.

I have searched through the US Census 1870, 1880, 1890 & 1900 to no avail 

NOTE: Most of the 1890 census population schedules were badly damaged by a fire in the Commerce Department Building in January 1921. Fragments of the 1890 census exist only for the states of Alabama, District of Columbia, Georgia, Illinois, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, South Dakota, and Texas.

There is a marriage in New Ross, 1865 for the Rathgeran couple - just to discount them.

Father's names is given as Edward.
Johanna, (Judy Julia) father is Patrick and mother is Mary Kilbride, both from Cummer which is north of the county on the Wexford/Wicklow border.

Is it possible to view/purchase naturalization papers online, or do I need to be a US citizen to do that?

Some Naturalisation records are on Ancestry, but you'd need to have the subscription which allows access to US records.
