Son George Connolly married Catherine Curran in Wigtown in 1902. He died, aged 76, in 1940 in Crichton Royal Hospital, Dumfries - usual address: Kirkcudbright. He is noted as George Connolly (formerly George Conway), general labourer (retired); parents: John Conway, labourer (deceased) and Mary Conway ms Black (deceased).

SP index has a Miles Conway born not too far away in Corsock Bridge in 1867 Ref 862/ 3


Family Search have parents as John Conway and Mary Black
