records on moore family of dublin
« on: Thursday 30 December 21 00:52 GMT (UK) »
hi all  :) ive been researching a strand of my family tree and i would love a bit of help.

my direct ancestor is christina moore (1879 - 1946)

her parents were edward moore (b.1854) and catherine kavanagh (b.1858)
they married in 1879 : https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1879/11057/8045336.pdf

ive been trying to find out when both of them passed away , they are recorded in the 1901 census but i cannot find a good match for deaths or in the 1911 census:

census:
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Dublin/Wood_Quay/Great_Ship_Street__Part_/1341274/

im also trying to locate when edward's parents (thomas and susanna) passed away. according to the parish marriage cert edward, his father and mother live in 62 upper stephen's st, they previously lived in church st.  if anyone could locate any records of interest id be very appreciative.

parish record:
https://registers.nli.ie/registers/vtls000639791#page/157/mode/1up

Edward had 3 siblings:

patrick moore b.1857
thomas moore b.1862
mary jane moore: b.1866

i thought maybe finding the siblings marriage cert could help me properly locate thomas and susanna in 1870s/1880s but no luck finding any.

if anyone could help id be delighted - thank you :)

Have you got this already ? Possible death of Edwards daughter Bridget in 1909 with mother Catherine (Kate) as witness. https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/deaths_returns/deaths_1909/05471/4531500.pdf.

these are great, thanks both!! :) i wonder if the Catherine who registered Bridget's birth is my catherine?

edit: if it is, there is a workhouse record of a catherine moore with previous address 2 kevin street and a death record in 1913
